GEORGE 'TOPSY' TURNER
Owner and Lead Instructor
Hello, my name is George Turner, better known to my recruits as ‘Topsy’ and I am the owner and chief instructor at Innovations Fitness. After 20 years in the Royal Navy, 15 of which were spent as a Physical Training Instructor, I went on to start up Innovations Fitness.
I live and work in Emsworth and enjoy watching sport as much as taking part in it and you will often see my doing charity challenges in the town square over even donning a Santa costume for the local kids!
I have coached and mentored in a variety of sports over the years and I believe that fitness should be fun and an enjoyable part of your day to day routine. I am also able to offer you diet and nutrition advice to match your long term goals be they losing weight through to Iron Man training!
There is no point in trying to get fit in a way that doesn’t inspire you. You are more likely to give up and this is why I have created a range of fitness classes /Boot Camps to suit all ages and ability levels.
I am friendly, approachable and absolutely passionate about fitness, come along and try a class, as your first session is FREE! We look forward to seeing you in the park!
Lisa joined Innovations Fitness having started as a client. Her story is quite remarkable! At the start of joining our sessions she was overweight and felt very unfit. Through our classes she quickly lost weight and increased her fitness levels to fit and fab in just under a year. She loved her new fitness and healthy life style so much, she decided to become an instructor and is an inspiration to all that come along. Lisa is now a qualified Level 2 Fitness instructor.
Lisa enjoys walking her dog Dave and taking part in tough mudders, Well anything that involves getting covered in mud basically!
Instructor - Buggy Boot Camp
I’m am a working mum, I've been a safety officer at the fire school for 15 years. I have a first aid at work quilfication. I have been a run leader but sadly I'm out of date. I love running and have run 7 marathons and several Half's. Now I've had Izzy I try and run two 5ks a week with the buggy. Whilst on maternity leave I qualified as a PT level 3. I have always loved keeping fit so running buggy bootcamp allows me to do so, I can still spend quality time with my daughter and meet others with little ones.
